General Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders and take precedence over any other terms. By acknowledging an order, you confirm acceptance of these as the sole applicable terms, regardless of any alternate terms you may propose.
Payment Terms
Website projects require a 50% deposit in advance, with the remaining 50% payable before launch. Any discounts offered are conditional upon timely payment. If payment is late, we reserve the right to re-invoice for the amount of the discount.
All orders are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%).

Overdue Accounts
Websites will be taken offline on overdue accounts that remain unpaid 30 days after the due date. Interest may be charged at 5% above the Barclays Bank base rate until the balance is cleared. We reserve the right to pursue overdue accounts through legal or recovery agents, and any associated costs will be charged to you.
Title of Goods
All goods remain the property of Construction-websites.co.uk trading as SimplyGraphics™ until payment is received in full. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to terminate websites that have been created by us, or suspend hosting.
Product Specifications
Product specifications may change without notice. While we strive for accuracy in our advertising and descriptions, we accept no responsibility for inaccuracies or the consequences of such errors.
Quotations
Quotations are subject to adjustment due to changes in laws, regulations, or taxes.
Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 28 days from the date of issue.
Prices and offers are subject to change without prior notice.
Prices
All listed prices are exclusive of VAT.
Delivery
We aim to meet estimated delivery times, but cannot guarantee exact dates and accept no liability for any losses arising from delays. Goods will only be delivered after full payment has been received.
Liability
We accept no liability for loss or damage unless claims are submitted as described above. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including financial losses or loss of business. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Refunds
Refunds will not be given on 50% deposits, should the client decide to terminate the project. Refunds are not given on fully completed websites, no matter the circumstance, as the work would have already been carried out by our company. Refunds on hosting are also non-applicable, as if our client decides to transfer away during the year-ahead period for hosting, their forfeit the cost of the rest of the year.
Cancellation
If you cancel an order, you will be charged for any work already completed. If no payment has been made, an invoice will be issued for the work done.
Order Amendments
If a website has passed the 'approval' stage of the homepage, and then instructions come across to completely change the style of the approved design, an additional cost will be applicable. If you require an amendment past the launch date, or any further content amendments/changes, then we charge £55 + VAT ph for all updates to the website, either software or content related.
Hosting Services
Our Servers
We use secure UK-based servers provided by 20i. We are not responsible for server downtime or related losses.
Hosting & Emails
We provide reliable shared hosting. You are responsible for backing up email data and using secure passwords.
If you request support for domain or website transfers, we charge £99 + VAY to unlock and release a domain from our server.
Domains
We can purchase domains on your behalf. Domain renewal remains your responsibility. Late payments may result in domain loss.
Renewals
Hosting services are billed annually each November. If payment is not received within six months of the renewal date, data may be permanently deleted.
Termination
To cancel hosting, you must notify us in writing. If you request your website files, a ZIP archive can be provided for £99 plus VAT. We do not assist with domain transfers beyond providing the transfer code or releasing the domain.
Technical Support
Available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding holidays. Website updates are billed at £55+ VAT per hour.
Backups
Clients are responsible for backing up their website content. Optional monthly backup services are available for £99 + VAT per year.
Web Design
Content & Turnaround
Work will begin upon receipt of 50% deposit payment and all necessary content. Delays in receiving content may delay the project timeline.
Failure to Provide Content
If content is not supplied within 1 month, a 25% surcharge may apply. If no contact is made for more than two months, the project may be terminated and your deposit forfeited.
Web Browsers
Websites are tested on current major browsers. We are not responsible for display issues caused by future browser updates. Updates may be charged at our standard rate of £55 + VAT ph.
Design Credit & Marketing
We include a design credit on your website (located in the footer), unless removed for a fee. To remove our company name from the footer will be charged at £249 + VAT. We may feature your project in our portfolio and marketing materials.
Indemnity
All services must be used lawfully. You agree to indemnify Construction-websites.co.uk trading as SimplyGraphics™ from any damages, claims, or legal action arising from your misuse of our services. This includes using content (either in text or image formats) that are either not your own, or you have no permission to use from the copyright owner.
